Circle plans: seats, invites, and the shared pool

Updated 9 September 2026

Circle is Pro for a group: every seat gets everything in Pro, and the whole circle shares one pooled capture quota of 80 captures per seat each month. It starts at 2 seats (£18 per seat a month, or £156 per seat a year) and you can buy up to 10 seats self-serve. For larger groups or education rollouts, get in touch and we will help.

Buying seats

Choose Circle on the pricing page and pick your seat count at checkout. The buyer becomes the circle's owner: they pay for all seats on one subscription and manage who fills them.

Inviting and managing members (owners)

In Settings, under Circle, you will see how many seats are used and who holds them.

  • Invite to a seat sends an email with a single-use join link. If the email does not arrive, copy the invite link from the member list and share it directly.
  • Revoke cancels an invitation that has not been accepted; Remove frees up an active member's seat.
  • To change how many seats you pay for, use Manage subscription in Billing; seat changes happen through the Stripe portal.

If you ever have more members than seats, new invites pause until you remove members or add seats.

Being a member

An accepted seat covers your subscription: you get the Circle plan through the owner's billing, and your captures draw on the circle's shared pool. If you already pay for your own plan, your own plan takes precedence.

You can leave at any time from Settings. If you leave, or the owner removes you, you move back to the Free plan unless you have your own subscription. Your notes and library remain yours either way.

The shared pool

All members, owner included, draw captures from one pool of 80 per seat per month. The meter in the app shows the pooled figure and notes that it is shared across your circle.
